Thursday Night Propositions
WE ARE BACK! The long wait is finally over, we have NFL Football on our televisons once again, let us rejoice in it. I've been looking at the prop bet market for things we can capitalize on, and here's what I found:

David Mongomery
Over 52.5 Rush Yds
-114
I'd be shocked if run game and ball control weren't a big part of the plan for Detroit. The addition of Jahmyr Gibbs may have driven this line below 55, but all our guy needs are his 12-15 carries and we're there.
Chris Jones still hasn't shown up to work, a massive blow to the Chiefs front seven.

Daniel Mears, The Detroit News
Jahmyr Gibbs
Over 33.5 Receiving Yards -114
We may not get many chances at a number this low after his debut. Gibbs was drafted (with fanfare) to be a pass-catching running back.
The Chiefs allowed the 4th most receiving yards to running backs last year (46.8 ypg) and as we said, no Chris Jones.
Jerrick McKinnon
Over 23.5 Receiving Yards
-114
With Kelce out or limited with a knee injury, Pat Mahomes will need someone to rely on around the line of scrimmage, and McKinnon is just that.
When the rush is closing in and he has to get rid of the ball, McKinnon is a proven asset in this capacity.
He cruised over 24 yards ten times last year, sometimes doubling or tripling it.
Lions Under 1.5 Made FGs
-118
Dan Campbell runs stairs, eats steaks, and turns wrenches, he doesn't kick fucking field goals.
Over the past two seasons, the Lions averaged just 1.8 field goal attempts per game.
That number hasn't gone over 2 under Campbell's tenure, and he knows it's not how you beat the Chiefs.
Not only that, the kickers room in Detroit is a mess. Current starter Riley Patterson has already been cut by the team once, and so has knockaround guy Michael Badgley who waits his turn on the practice squad.
First Drive Result: Offensive TD
+290
The Chiefs come out firing, we know Andy Reid with time to prepare is difficult to stop. Looking back to the past five Week 1 games for KC, the Chiefs have scored or allowed a TD on the opening drive in 4 of 5.
It's a fun little half-unit bet to have right out of the gate.
There's five to get us started. Best of luck, let's have another profitable season!
