Sonsio Grand Prix Qualifying

High drama at Road America today, but the field is set for the Sonsio Grand Prix tomorrow. Practice sessions were marred by multiple wrecks, and tensions spilled over for a moment.

Scott Dixon checked up at the wrong time leaving Will Power nowhere to go, resulting in two destroyed race cars. Power wasted no time firing off his now patented double birds as he exited his car, even approaching Dixon in what looked like an effort to straighten his collar, before kicking Dixon's front wing.

The two were separated. They will start side-by-side 25th and 26th tomorrow.

Who's Starting Where?

Qualifying saw men separate from boys as the usual suspects traded the P1 position throughout. Rossi, Palou, and Newgarden all looked promising at times, but Pato O'Ward edged Palou by 0.12 seconds to shuffle Newgarden to third for the moment.

In the end, nobody could catch Colton Herta who got around all 14 turns in 1:40.1945 to claim his 10th career pole.
