Dip, Dip, Dip... Shamalama-ding-dong!

Party dips! The silent heros of every house party! Quick, and easy, with only a few ingredients... these dip recipes are my FAVORITE "go-to" options... hands down!
The batch sizes are large for a reason! My guests can never get enough of these dips! Be prepared to be the hit of the party!!! "Dip, dip, dip, shamalama-ding dong!!!"
☆WISCONSIN BEER-CHEESE DIP:

16 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 Packet (1oz) Hidden Valley Ranch dry mix
2 Cups finely shredded sharp cheddar
3* (or more?) Tablespoons Spotted Cow beer (or similar)
2 16oz. bag of pretzel twists
Stir the softened cream cheese until smooth. Next add the packet of dry ranch mix and stir until evenly mixed. Add the 3 Tablespoons of beer to START with and mix thoroughly. Lastly, you will add the cheese and again mix completely. Chill until serving. Serve with pretzels as your dip "vehicle".
Use your own taste palette to guide you as to how much beer you would like to add. NOTE: The dip will become thinner as you add more beer and the beer flavor will become more prominent... rather quickly.
☆CLASSIC CHEESEY ROTEL DIP:

3 10oz. cans of Rotel original diced tomatoes and green chilies
1 2 oz. block of Velveeta cheese
2 17oz. bags of tortilla chips
Empty all three cans of Rotel into a medium sized crock pot or a large microwave safe dish. Cut the entire block of Velveeta into 1 inch cubes and add to the Rotel and stir.
For the crockpot, cook on low stirring occasionally until completely melted. Microwaving usually goes faster, I typically cook for 3 minutes st a time, stirring in between. Serve with tortilla chips.
This dip is addicting and also fun to serve on taco Tuesday, over nachos or if you ever have a baked potato bar. A fun variation of this dip includes adding taco meat to it once it is totally melted.
