Bread Winners and Bed Shitters Week 9

Week 9 saw some of the biggest performances of all time, not just for this season. We also saw the Packers lose….again, Tom Brady turn back the clock and win one in the clutch, and a young Quarterback who may need to file a restraining order against Matthew Judon. The list will be short and sweet this week as the top performers set themselves apart and the bottom performers…well, you’ll see.
Breadwinners
Joe Mixon

Joe Mixon has been due for a few splash weeks. He had all of them at once on Sunday. Mixon was flirting with the single-game points record on Sunday and fell just short as he watched the end of the game on the sidelines. For the day Mixon rushed 22 times for 153 yards and caught 4 of 5 targets for another 58 yards. That would be quite the day for most, but Mixon also had 5 touchdowns. This Bengals offense is dangerous in so many ways and with Mixon reestablishing the rushing threat, the sky is the limit for the rest of the season, with or without JaMarr Chase.
Justin Fields

It appears that all the Bears needed to do to get their offense turned around was to trade away their two best defensive players. Justin Fields has been sensational over the past four weeks finishing as QB8, QB5, QB5, and this past week as QB1. Fields passing numbers aren’t anything to write home about as he completed 17 passes for just 123 yards. He did have three TDs through the air. Fields did his damage on Sunday with his legs as he rushed for 178 yards and another TD. This was the most rushing yards for a QB in one game in NFL history and puts Fields on a pace for 1137 yards for the season.
Derrick Henry

Derrick Henry’s Titans may have fallen short against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night, but that was no fault of his own. Henry was as sensational as always finishing with 115 yards on just 17 carries and adding 2 TDs on the day. Henry has now hit at least 100 yards in five consecutive games and has a pretty light schedule coming up against opposing defenses. Henry is the rare set it and forget it bell cow in today's NFL and should continue to feast the rest of the way. This is not his first visit to the Breadwinners list and likely will not be his last.
Bedshitters
The Entire Green Bay Packers Organization

Foxsports.com
This has gotten ridiculous. Aaron Rodgers has made a living on the shit list and he stays there this week, but this time he’s bringing the whole gang with him. AJ Dillon, Aaron Jones, Allen Lazard, Christian Watson, Matt LaFleur, Brian Gutekunst, and anyone else associated with the organization. With five consecutive losses, Green Bay looks like they are closing to picking first overall then squeezing into the playoffs. With the Vikings already at 7 wins the division is just about wrapped up. Teams go through bad spells, hell, teams go through losing streaks. To lose 5 straight and have losses to teams like the Commanders and Lions just isn’t a good look. It may be time for 12 to hang it up for good, and if not, let’s at least see what Jordan Love has. This has been an absolute disaster and should cost some people their jobs.
